At Liban Tapas Restaurant in South Woodford, we offer a simple, straightforward and healthy menu that is freshly prepared by our chefs each day of the week.
Our menu is based around sharing plates and our tapas dishes have a Mediterranean base to them, being made with olive oil, local Lebanese ingredients and products with plenty of healthy salads and grilled meat dishes. You might also like to try our new Sunday Roast Menu.
The enclosed and private Parisian Terrace is half covered and half open, offering the perfect place to enjoy some outdoor al fresco dining on those warmer days and evenings. Guests can also enjoy smoking Shisha on the Terrace.
We offer all-day dining with our all halal menu and have recently introduced a new Dessert trolley for those of you with a sweet tooth.
Our extensive Drinks Menu means that you can meet with friends for a fresh and healthy juice, cocktail, cup of illy coffee, fresh pot of herbal tea, or glass of wine, as we stock wines from over 25 countries around the world.
Our four dining areas mean that we are able to offer enough space to maintain social distancing as necessary, to ensure that you feel as comfortable and safe as possible. As a local restaurant, we also try our best to support local suppliers and jobs, as well as the local community.
About Us
We offer a simple, straightforward and healthy menu that is freshly prepared by our chefs each day of the week. A large selection of our dishes are suitable for vegetarians and vegans and we also offer gluten-free dishes.
Our menu is based around sharing plates and our tapas dishes have a Mediterranean base to them, being made with olive oil, local Lebanese ingredients and products with plenty of healthy salads and grilled meat dishes.
Our Lebanese wines are imported from the Beqaa Valley, known for its excellent wine, and we work with both small and large local growers.
We serve two of the best Lebanese beers – Beirut and Almaza – whilst our cocktail menu has been created by our sommelier and cocktail mixologist Paul, who was head barman at L’Atelier de Joel Robuchon in London.
Since opening, we have been awarded a 5 Star Food Hygiene Rating by the London Borough of Redbridge. We are also the first Lebanese restaurant in the area to offer our menu via Just Eat, Deliveroo and UberEATS for those of you who are on the go or want to simply enjoy our menu in the comfort of your own home or office.

The restaurant has four dining areas which include our main Restaurant area, a Sunroom looking onto our terrace and an all-year-round Parisian Terrace and Souk Lounge.

The spacious main restaurant can seat up to 40 people and overlooks the High Street at the front of the restaurant with its large picture windows and has six booths designed and created for comfort and privacy that seats up to six people individually and ideal for a special evening out.
Sunroom
The bright and airy Sunroom with its glass roof overlooks our enclosed Parisian terrace and can be set out with individual tables or bigger tables for larger groups and can accommodate up to 50 people.
Souk Lounge
The mosaic tiled Souk Lounge offers an intimate and cosy bar and lounge area in which to sit and relax and enjoy some drinks or something to eat on our imported sofas and furniture. It looks out onto our terrace and in summer we open it up so it becomes part of an al fresco dining experience.
Parisian Terrace
The enclosed and private Parisian Terrace is half covered and half open, offering the perfect place to enjoy some al fresco dining on those warmer days and evenings. But it is open all year round and is also our winter terrace, equipped with super-efficient heaters and warm wool blankets for those chilly evenings.
Private Events
Are you looking for a great location to hold an event or party?
We can cater for small private events of just 10 people, right up to larger corporate events or private parties for up to 60 people. Our all-year-round Parisian Terrace can accommodate up to 40 people.
We have three dining areas here at Liban Tapas which can be hired out individually or together. They include the main restaurant, our bright sunroom that looks onto the partially covered Parisian Terrace and cosy Souk Lounge. The Parisian Terrace can also be booked for events.
The restaurant is also available (subject to availability) for any events of up to 150 people.

We can cater for menus to suit your needs and requirements and can offer belly-dancing if requested. Guests can also enjoy smoking shisha on the Parisian Terrace.
